ALERT: Illinois Firearm Registration/Confiscation

The Illinois state senate has proposed SB0107, a bill which calls for registration and a penalty for noncompliance. Historically, registration is the immediate prelude to confiscation and is a favorite tactic of totalitarian regimes. The Bill of Rights enshrined the 2nd amendment as the right to keep an bear arms. This is a non-negotiable right, and not a privilege. Compromise on this issue means abject surrender.
