The reviews so far have been mixed. But, honestly, what new camera has launched recently without people complaining about something?nI was keen to get my hands on the Canon EOS R and start testing and putting it through the paces. I wanted to get it out and start shooting some photography especially since it seems like every video about the EOS R so far has been video focused. nDirectly after the unboxing, I went into the menus to set up the Canon EOS R the way I want it.nThen, after doing the Canon EOS R unboxing I took it down the coast to do some landscape photography on the camera. The initial tests show that the picture quality is very good. It looks like a Canon and that's something that's pretty important to me as I feel like Canon colours and images just have a special aspect to them.nThe EOS R is obviously the first of what is predicted to be a long line of full frame mirrorless cameras from Canon. Well this camera isn't perfect, it is very good as a first off the line camera. I think the adjustments will be made and this camera will be a force in the industry.
