Marvel just rolled out a new trailer for all of their upcoming Disney+ projects including: Daredevil, Iron Heart, A new Wakanda show, and… The new Wonder Man Teaser is here featuring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as an actor trying to secure a role for a movie… Wonder Man. Im gonna let you in on a secret: he’s an important character to Wanda and Vision!
In the comics Wonder Man is Simon Williams who ends up getting his powers from Baren Zemo. Later on Wonder Man’s brain is used to create Vision. And they consider themselves brothers but since its a similar brain a love triangle forms between them and Scarlett Witch.
But Im curious about Wonder Man, is this is going to be a grounded TV show following the life of an actor or will he end up getting powers and keep the Mantle.
Knowing how formulaic Disney can be its going to start off interesting, then by the end of episode 2 there will be a call to adventure and things will fall off the rails come episode 4.
In the comics Wonder Man appears on Talk shows, I wonder if they’ll do that in the show.
