Fender Squier Stratocaster Made in Korea - E Serial v CS Serial thru Strymon Iridium Landgraff Drive

  • I happen to have two of these Korean made (MIK) Squiers getting ready to sell so I though I’d see if there’s any difference in the sound. The most obvious difference in the look is that the CN serial model relegates the “Squier” branding to a small decal on the tip of the headstock, whereas the E serial proudly displays “Squier” where the Fender decal is normally.
This particular E serial is in better overall shape than the CN. The one I prefer should become apparent from the video. Can you hear much difference?
Both guitars are going through the same rig and settings:
    - Strymon Iridium on Deluxe Reverb sim with gain up
    - Additional drive provided by Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive - the drive increases from boost to 50% fuzz (watch the left-most knob closely)
    - Analogman Dual Delay
