One week into owning my Model 3 I figured out I can't keep going to super chargers and hoping updates come via 4G. Also see link for extension cord if you live in BE&NL.nnI put my router closer to the front door - and bought this extension cord www.gamma.nl/assortiment/handson-power-supply-verlengsnoer-neopreen-zwart-10-meter-3x1-5-mm/p/B581956 in order to keep the car awake and connected for software updates.nnFrom a normal household plug I get 10KM of range per hour. nIn more technical terms that's 8Amps times 220Volts or 1,76KWh.nnIn order to ensure my energy bill doesn't explode I do a bit of math for 10 hours of charging during which I gain 100KM's of range:nn1.76KWh * 10 hours * 0.225 Eurocents per KWh = 3.96Euro or virtually 4Euro for 100KM's of range.nnA full charge would cost 20E (Nothing compared to the 80E I would pay for a similar car in this class, considering petrol prices are very high in NL).
