Following four freshman at a South Central Los Angeles high school, and the story is a mix of drama and dark humor that works well. It might be a teen show, but it’s well done enough for you to give it a watch. Not to spoil it, but On My Block is renewed for a second season already, so if you dive in at least you’ll be guaranteed of more episodes to come. nnPerdida - Spanish for lost - follows a grown police officer who can’t shake the disappearance of her friend when they were both teens, and she sets out to solve the mystery. The movie is in Spanish with subtitles, but don’t let that scare you away from a taut thriller that is well paced and exciting in any language.
