Street Photography: Using the Fuji 56m f/1.2 Portrait Lens

  • My camera & lens for street photography: trovatten.com/camera/fujifilm-x-t3/ - I'm www.instagram.com/trovatten/ on Instagram.nnIn street photography, most people swear to a focal length of 28 or 35 mm. But in this video, shooting with the Fujifilm X-t3 and the Fujinon 56mm f1.2. nnIn my street photography, I do a lot of street portraits (and portrait photography in general) and for that, the Fuji 56mm 1.2 aperture is perfect.nnThe 88mm focal length is not popular in street photography, but I really think it should be. nnBecause you can reach and isolate subjects much further away from you, than with a 35mm.nnAnd of course that’s also the challenge shooting with an 88mm. If I want to capture a complete scene, I have to be really far away.nAlso in low light situations, the fast 1.2 aperture helps keeping my ISO at a decent level.nnIn this video, I'm doing street photography in Mexico City (Coyoacán). I'm shooting with a 56mm 1.2 Fuji lens and I'm using the new FujiFilm X-T3 (mirrorless and cropped frame)
