Plot Summary :
Set in the 1930s, The Highwaymen tells the untold true story of the legendary lawmen who brought down the infamous criminals Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
When the notorious bank robbers are terrorizing America during the Great Depression, the FBI and local authorities struggle to capture them. As a last resort, former Texas Rangers Frank Hamer and Maney Gault are called out of retirement. Using old-school detective skills and relentless pursuit, the two seasoned lawmen track down the couple across multiple states, leading to the bloody ambush that ended Bonnie and Clyde’s reign of crime in 1934.
The film focuses less on the criminals and more on the lawmen’s perspective, showing the grit, sacrifice, and moral conflict behind their pursuit.
