I ranked the 11 new movies I saw in August 2025 from Worst to best! Films like Weapons and Together managed to really showcase what horror/thrillers can do still while The Naked Gun and The Roses managed to revitalize their respective properties. The Amazon Prime exclusives, however, didn't fare as well. The Pickup was generic crap and The War of the Worlds (2025) is a major contender for the worst movie of 2025! Nobody 2 was a fine followup to the first entry and Americana was a nice little indie flick. Overall, August was a great month for film. Here's hoping September can continue the momentum!
