Kung Fu Panda 4 feels like a rushed soup made from leftovers of the previous movies. Honestly, it turned out even worse than Kung Fu Panda 3. The plot is just a mess when you really think about it, and they totally messed up Shifu's character. And don't even get me started on Chameleon's backstory—it's laughable. Zhen? Yeah, super annoying. And why does Po need a successor already when he's barely settled into being the Dragon Warrior himself? Makes zero sense. Tai Lung? He gets taken out way too easily, and then suddenly changes his mind about Po without any real reason? Plus, no interaction with Shifu? Come on! Shen and Kai got the short end of the stick too—no voice lines and just there for show. And the other warriors Chameleon brought back just go along with Kai without any resistance, even though we know from KFP3 that he drained their chi. And where were the Furious Five? Seeing them only in the end credits with no dialogue was just the final straw for me. Overall, it felt like a dragged-out episode of Legends of Awesomeness.
