The Big Krasnokholmsky Bridge in Moscow is a steel single—span arch bridge across the Moscow River. It is located on the highway of the Garden Ring between Taganskaya Square and Lower Krasnokholmskaya Street. It was built in 1938 according to the project of engineer V. M. Vakhurkin and architect V. D. Kokorin. The arch of the Bolshoy Krasnokholmsky Bridge with a length of 168 m is the largest in the center of Moscow. The bridge was built as part of the implementation of the master plan for the reconstruction of the city of Moscow.
