Since Deadpool 3 was confirmed as an MCU story, many were wondering whether the series would continue the R-rated nature of the first two installments. While Kevin Feige was adamant the MCU would allow Deadpool to continue his irreverent, foul-mouthed ways, the looming presence of Disney meant some did not overly believe this would be the case. However, the confirmation of Deadpool 3's R-rating has continued to be upheld moving closer to the film's release. As such, Deadpool 3 is expected to be Marvel Studios' first official step into the world of more mature filmmaking. While this is a great sign concerning Deadpool 3's individual success, the MCU's willingness to open projects up to more mature age ratings will also benefit one particular hero introduced in Phase 4 of the franchise.
