It’s wild how fast a new artist can rise when their skills are deep and their work ethic powerful. We chose Feid to be part of our DSCVR: Artists To Watch in 2018 because we knew that the then-newcomer to the Latin music scene had both qualities mentioned above. It didn’t take long for the Medellin native to prove us right. The DSCVR co-sign he got from Nacho was followed by a barrage of features and collabs from and with reggaeton’s best and brightest. By the time Feid’s ‘FERXX0 (Vol 1: M.O.R)’ album arrived last year, he’d been hanging with everyone from Sech to Maluma to Sky to Balvin (he co-wrote the Colombian superstar’s “Ginza”) to...you get the point. Which is that Feid has arrived. His new “Tengo Fe” and “Fumeteo” are the work of a daring pro, not an edgy newcomer. His 'Intershibuya - La Mafia' album should grace us before the end of 2021. When he arrived at our Brooklyn Ctrl studio, he was ready for business. Both “HECTOL” and "TENGO FE" resound with all the authority you’d expect from a deep talent.
