It’s wild how fast a new artist can rise when their skills are deep and their work ethic powerful. We chose Feid to be part of our DSCVR: Artists To Watch in 2018 because we knew that the then-newcomer to the Latin music scene had both qualities mentioned above. It didn’t take long for the Medellin native to prove us right. The DSCVR co-sign he got from Nacho was followed by a barrage of features and collabs from and with reggaeton’s best and brightest. By the time Feid’s ‘FERXX0 (Vol 1: M.O.R)’ album arrived last year, he’d been hanging with everyone from Sech to Maluma to Sky to Balvin (he co-wrote the Colombian superstar’s “Ginza”) to...you get the point. Which is that Feid has arrived. His new “TENGO FE” and “FUMETEO” are the work of a daring pro, not an edgy newcomer - you can hear it throughout his third album, 'Intershibuya - La Mafia.' When he arrived at our Brooklyn Ctrl studio, he was ready for business. Both “HECTOL” and "TENGO FE" resound with all the authority you’d expect from a deep talent.
