Cyberpunk 2077 has been anticipated for close to a decade. CD Projekt Red enjoyed the hype and enthusiasm of millions, with promises of leaving the greed to others.
As early as January, they claimed the game was mostly done... and all it needed was polish... but now, after launch... as they entrench themselves into a cycle of anger and backlash... the game is being pulled from stores and refunded en masse.
This title will eventually be great... it is a flawed game with brilliance behind it... but the damage it has caused to their reputation will not soon be forgotten.
