Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat Movie Review by Anupama Chopra

Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat starring Alaya F, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Mehta is the most clunky film title I’ve heard in a few years. This makes me wonder if perhaps it is a way for writer-director Anurag Kashyap to prepare us for the film attached to it. Anurag Kashyap has made 22 films. Only two of these can be described as love stories – Dev D and Manmarziyaan – and neither fits into Hindi cinema’s traditionally frothy, bubble-gum ideas of romance.
