The pacing fits our shock that it’s actually happening, we get those couple moments before she suddenly turns it ALL THE WAY up. She also acts almost uncharacteristically playful with Tyler, but it’s in such a characteristic way, that we accept it as totally how she WOULD include him in her private fun. Her dance style isn’t just “dancing skeleton”, we get more nuance with various possessed and animal-like looks. The genuinely amateur look to it is also charmingly characteristic: it looks like a bunch of moves she came up with on her own just to have fun.
